Heather Baker is a musical director and partner with Direction Music Group, a leading musical direction company located in Los Angeles, CA. She currently works with Chappell Roan, Conan Gray, Towa Bird, Ricky Montgomery, Livingston, Debbii Dawson and Maude Latour. In the past she has worked with Olivia Rodrigo, Demi Lovato, Em Beihold, Meg Myers, Adam Lambert and Tegan and Sara. She is also a session and touring guitar player for Miley Cyrus.
Her most recent projects include executive producing glitter-goth heartthrob Leo Lauren’s debut EP Supernormal, set for a fall 2024 release; co-writing with electric-soul artist NoMBe for his summer single Paint California; and collaborating with Adam Lambert for his most recent live album VELVET: Side A.
Additionally, Heather composes and arranges for feature films and television, including soundtrack music for Holy Ghost People (2013); Raised by Wolves (2014); A Beginner's Guide to Snuff (2015); Little Paradise (2015); Muertoons (2015); The Night Watchmen (2016); Dead Draw (2016); Cynthia (2018); End of Babes (2016); Embeds (2017); The Off Season (2017); and Starlight (2020).
